ZEBRA STRIPES

I don't know what possessed me to put on these zebra shoes with this dress, but it totally works.  I'm sure it had to do with the fact that they were on top of the giant pile of sandals overflowing out of my closet.  Chaos creates style?

I love this dress so much!  The stripes are so classic, and I'm having fun finding ways to put a slightly edgier twist on them.  Today, it was all about the accessories.

How would you accessorize this striped little number?

  7. That dress is AWESOME! And you look fabulous in it.
As for my input on accessories, I would do a heavily embellished bid style necklace, and coordinate with embellished t-strap flats.

  11. The first thing I thought when I saw this was, "wow that is a really short fence." Not to say that your outfit isn't great. It is. I just thought it was kinda funny.

I love that you paired zebra stripes with stripey stripes (? haha). I think this end result is very edgy.

  12. That's a serious pout in the second shot. Love it!
Red lipstick is just so right with this dress. The zebra is great too.
You're like a zebra from a children's book that goes off to become a sailor or something. All of his friends tease him but one giraffe believes in him and they share the spoils of a life at sea.

    Or something like that...

  13. Love that dress!!!! You did a great job at putting it together. All over stripes are so difficult to piece with other items, but you made it look terrific:)
