MONDAY, MONDAY

12-14-09

Today was one of those days that I had no idea what I wanted to wear.  I didn't really feel like wearing tights and had to avoid denim due to work.  Grr...

This humongous drapey pants are the least boring non-denim pants I own.  Perhaps a hole in my wardrobe I should fill in soon?

I was a little non-plussed with this whole ensemble, so I threw on the hat for just a little flair.  If nothing else, I was comfy and still felt pulled together.  But tomorrow will definitely be a jeans day!

  1. You look fabulous! Love the addition of the hat and the unbuckled way you're wearing your belt. It looks great, but how does it stay there?

  5. I'm lovin those pants. I have been looking for a pair that will fit me exactly like that. Just a suggestion for filling in your pant collection. Try khaki colored peg pants. I was hesitant at first cause I'm short but they have quickly become an essential in my wardrobe.

  7. Beautiful, classic outfit! I just want to tell you that you have really inspired me to be more creative with the pieces that I already own. I've adopted an entirely new perspective on remixing. Since I'm still on a (very recently) post-college budget, this is so helpful! When I think about fashion as a means of self-expression, I find that I can feel really creative because I found a fun way to pair my wide belt with my vintage pants, and so on. It's refreshing to see someone document their adventures with style without spending an arm and a leg on couture-esque pieces. Thanks so much for sharing this fabulous blog!

  10. Great casual work outfit! Tip: adjust your ISO. The lower the number the less sensitive the camera is to light and the finer the grain. But be careful how low you go when indoors... Hope this helped a little bit!

  19. I have a few pairs of dress pants from JCP (Worthington, I think?) that got lots of use when I worked in a more conservative office. Now, though, my go-to pants this time of year are cords. The darker colors especially make a good transition from the street to the office.
