HOME BODY

I'm a little behind on things right now.  Okay, a lot behind, but whatever.  These are from yesterday.  Can you believe that this scenery is right outside my parents doorstep?  When I go back this time of year, there's something so comforting about it.  I have so much more appreciation for my geographic roots now than I ever did as a kid.

As per usual, I was flying around my house like a crazy person before leaving town (hence, forgetting my wallet).  About 80% of my wardrobe is in the laundry and I knew the weather was going to be chilly, so I was a little at a loss.  I just threw some basics in a bag and wore the same jeans as the previous day.  It turned out to be perfect for a day of coffee, lunching and light thrifting.

  1. Red stripes! That's a new one for me. All I ever see is black and blue but I love that shirt.

Perfect look for a perfect day, the way it sounds. I'm jealous!

  9. This look exactly like my grandparents house in PA. I looove it. I can't wait to go back and visit. And what you're wearing is normally what I'm in when I'm up there.

  11. I like this look--it seems classically Americana to me but w/o slapping you in the face with a flag, you know? Very cute!!

  12. I'm loving the layers here-- so often I go for just two pieces layered together, but these three look so fantastic together! Definitely a reminder that there is no such thing as too many layers :)

  13. That really is a gorgeous setting. How lucky!
The outfit is perfect for being back home, there are elements of childhood in it with the stripes and sneakers. I can just imagine you building a fort in the trees.
