THE PUMPKIN CHILI RECIPE

I had a couple requests for the Pumpkin Good-for-You Chili that I screwed up made the other day. Once again, do as I say, not as I do!

Combine the following in a 4-5 quart pot and simmer uncovered for 45 minutes:
4 cups water
2 - 16oz. cans crushed tomatoes
2 - 16oz. cans of pinto or kidney beans (or 1 of each, as I did)
1 - 16oz. can of solid-pack pumpkin (not to be confused with 2 cans, as I did)
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped red bell pepper
2/3 cup bulgur wheat
1 - 4oz. can chopped green chilies
3 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. curry
1 tsp. salt

  2. Just a thought...... I recommend adding the picture again, will be good for random people searching a recipe. :-)
