IS THAT WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO WEAR AFTER THE APOCALYPSE?

That's what my smart-ass husband asked when he saw my pictures next to this rusty concrete wall.  He's just so amusing ... to himself.  I think he's just jealous because he was kind enough to snap a few shots of me this morning and I decided to re-take them this afternoon.

Is there a support group for fur hat addiction?  I may need one.  I just couldn't help myself.  My family and I went into Eddie Bauer the other day, so my dad could find a new sweater.  My brother was trying this hat on to be funny, and I then I thought I'd give it a whirl.  Bad idea.

As soon as the soft, plush fur touched my cheeks, I was sold.  I let it go that day, but two days later, I was still dreaming about it.  So, I went back and got it.  It slightly impairs my hearing (more annoying to John than myself), but the warmth .... oh, the warmth.  It's most amazing thing to have on my head on a day like today.

On a completely unrelated topic, is anyone else totally stoked for the return of What Not To Wear tonight?  Yay for no more wedding shows!  Seriously, I can only take so much.

Don't let these pictures mislead you.  If you passed me on the street today, I looked more like this:

And since I would never make John stand out in the bitter, snowy morning for nothing, here's a couple outtakes from our early morning photo op:

  8. Those skinny jeans make you look super thin and supa fly...oh and not only is the coat warm, but it can double as a sleeping bag...and...and you can steal more jeans with it and no one would be the wiser.
I'm kidding kids...I don't condone sleeping on large downfilled jackets...what? Oh right...stealing, stealing is bad.

  9. Watching WNTW right now. I think its weird that my favorite part of the show is not the reveal, but the SHOPPING lol. I love watching them going into stores, look through clothes and trying them on. Weird right? The other one I used to watch was How do I look, I liked seeing all the outfits on the guests. Ha!

  21. Well, at least if the world ends you'll be looking like a hottie. Someone has to improve morale, right? End times are hard times, but you don't have to look like it!
