BABY, IT'S COLD OUTSIDE

12-8-09 1

Truthfully, this is just the tip of the iceberg.  I mean that quite literally and figuratively.  While it's below freezing, it's only slightly below and I've been here long enough to know that it's going to get a lot colder before it gets warmer.

I couldn't figure out what was dripping on me while taking photos.
I looked up and saw these pretty icicles.

I was really rushed to get out of the house this morning, so the hair is a little wonky and the shades were definitely a necessity.  I quickly grabbed what was fresh in my mind, hence the similarity to Friday's outfit.  Today called for 2 things: comfy and warm.  Check and check.

  1. I'm digging this look. I never thought to wear flannel or button down under my sweaters with this shape. You look great!

  2. hi Kyla! It's the first time I've commented so bear with me. But I have been looking for some perfect flannels and can't find them anywhere... you just gave me the idea to look at the boy's flannels on the Target website and PRESTO. PERFECT FLANNELS for a good price! THANK YOU. Do you mind me asking what size you ordered? (frankly I'm just worried about the shirts fitting in the bust area.)

  3. I have to to say me three to the comments about the flannel! I always fear the flannel, but it looks super cute like that. You've inspired me!

  6. My tartan shirt is too tight for me (the growing bump) but I could so work it under my cream woolie sweater! Thanks for the inspiration.

You are looking fabulous as always!
