SNOW WHISPERER

I spent a good portion of the day muttering obscenities under my breath.  We woke up this morning to even MORE snow.  Wtf?  I don't get it!  There were TONS of trees and branches down all over town.  The snow was very heavy and no one was ready for it!

To add insult to injury, it's homecoming weekend.  It's a small town with a HUGE football tradition.  There were all sorts of crazies staking their claim of sidewalk along the parade route since early this morning.  On top of that, there's thousands and THOUSANDS of people on their way into town and they are going to be VERY disappointed when they realize that tailgating has been banned for tomorrow due to the parking restrictions, thanks to the weather.  Tailgating may be the only thing bigger than football here.

But I'm still trying not to let it get me down.  Today's outfit had to be bootylicious.  And by bootylicious, I mean it must contain boots that will keep me warm and dry.  For such a casual outfit, I'm loving it!

These socks are quickly becoming a favorite piece.  There's something about a thigh high, no matter how nubby, that's instantly sexy.  It's definitely pulling me out of the snow dump.

Hopefully this will all be gone by Monday and we'll have the sun back!  Then I'll debut my AWESOME custom jeans from indidenim.  They're so perfect!

  10. KYLA!!! You look too freaking cute....way way too cute, I cannot stand it. Possibly the best outfit I have seen on you ever....okay I exaggerate, how could I possibly pick just one?
I love knee highs as well (so does Husband), I got a pair last year from AA that can go all the way to my business...don't know why anyone would need them that high, but cool nonetheless...

  12. Hello, I'm new to your blog!

Love this look, so cozy! I got a pair of thigh highs on clearance at target. They are a peachy/melon color, still trying to figure out how to best work them into my wardrobe... hmm... they were only $2 so I couldn't resist!

Here in Philly, we just have cold, yucky rain... at least with snow there's a possibility to play! :)

  21. I cant believe I never commented on this outfit! Seriously, it's like so hot it's ridiculous. Especially since your legs are covered in tights at socks and a long flannel.

Idk what makes it sexy, but it's one of my faves. My husband would probably drool all over the floor if I wore something like this! =P
