It's been a bit of sad week here, as I had to say good bye to one of the special women in my life. My Nanny. She may very well be the one who passed down the great love of shoes I so possess. And my mom always says that she was very Jackie O back in the day. But, of course, she was much, much more than the clothes on her back and the shoes on her feet, and she will not soon be forgotten. I'll always love my Nanny.
I'm so sorry for your loss. She looks like a woman filled with spirit and warmth in this picture.
