... and of course, my spin:
Her challenge, if we chose to accept, was to wear it at the natural waist. That was fine with me, because it didn't look very good worn any lower. It took me a while to figure it out, but a couple of safety pins later, and I had it. Now, I love it. Christina, I take no responsibility if this gets "lost in the mail." Just kidding. No, really, I am ...
I just love this shirt. During my recent visit to Plato's Closet, I tried it on and then decided not to get it. What was I thinking?! So, a few days later, I just had to make another trip just to get it. Luckily, I remembered about where I picked it up. Though, it was still like looking for a needle in a haystack. You can tell you love this outfit! Thank goodness that shirt was still there, it's a great staple piece!
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is super adorable on you. I'm glad you found one at a reasonable price for keeping, and I can't wait to see the other ways you'll style it.
ReplyDeleteI have this skirt! I struggle with how to wear it because of the fit. SAFETY PINS...why didn't I think of that? Definitely needs a fitted top. You wear it well.
ReplyDeleteI have now officially called second dibs on that bad boy because it is just. that. AMAZING. I adore the shirt, and the scarf belt is essentially perfection.
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is way way too cute to give back!! and it looks freaking adorable on you!
ReplyDeleteI have that skirt (in a different color) and rarely wear it because it fits weirdly, I'm going to have to take note and safety pin it up!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love, love the outfit - I've really loved all the outfits this week! Some great styling here!
ReplyDeleteI love the sash with this skirt. I actually thought it was part of it until I scrolled down to the second picture.
ReplyDeleteThe prints together make this look so fun!
I was coveting the shirt even before you turned around! I wouldn't be able to wear it to work (there's a huge Willow tree tatooed right there) but man I really want it for the summer! The scarf belt is the perfect touch!
ReplyDeleteThat tiered skirt is so fun! I love how you've styled it, and those blue flats are adorable.
ReplyDeleteyou look especially pretty in that skirt today, and i love the sash.

ReplyDeleteOooh and I love scoop neck tops like that, they always feel so ballet and pretty.
I love this skirt! And your take on it is perfection. The scarf adds just the right amount of dimension (not that the skirt doesn't already do that). Hell yeah Mavens!
