The only downfall to a truly perfect day like yesterday is that the next day doesn't stand a chance of living up. Today just wasn't as sunny. The skies weren't as blue. And it just wasn't quite as warm.
So, what better way to salvage the day than to infuse a little of that certain something from yesterday? Sure it's gross, but I have no shame. Yes, I'm wearing the jumpsuit again today.
And I know this is like the third time this week I've worn my hair this way, but what can I say? Beat it 'til it's dead, no? I just feel so edgy with it, and truthfully, it so freakin' easy. I haven't had to wash it since like ... Sunday? (I know, this post just keeps getting more and more gross - I swear, I wore clean underwear.) And it gives my skin a break from all the hair nasties laying on it all the time.
This is another sweater that lived in the basement all winter until about a week ago. I bought it way back when, and it's a tad too big. But it's perfect for wrapping and belting. And it has the most perfect gold shimmer. I'm really digging the glamorous karate kid thing I have going on today.
Okay, I'm going to paint the fence now ...
Sweater: The Loft, $20 - Jumpsuit: Thrifted, 15¢ - Shoes: Madden Girl, $23 - Belt: Gap, $2ish - Assorted Cheapo Jewelry
That top knot is so great on you, and it's dressed up nicely by your makeup and earrings. I am craving long hair again.
ReplyDeletei absolutely adore this look! it's all perfection. that is all. ;)

ReplyDeleteAs for the jumpsuit, I think it looked great both days but I really dig today. The sweater and belt are a perfect match for it. You look wonderful!

LOL, glamorous karate-kid. You are so funny. I actually thought more "Kathryn Hepburn" when I saw it...maybe it was the neutrals or the clearly defined waist or the red lips. Not sure, but it seems very Kathrine Hepburn to me.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love this outfit! I need to go through my closet now and see if I can find something similar :o)

I love your hair like that so I fully applaud you wearing it like that whenever you want!
ReplyDeleteSO ladylike and chic! Love it! Lovely lips too!! :-)
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! I dont think it's gross you wore the same thing. Or that you didnt wash your hair in three days (I mean, it's up! It's not all oily in your face). I actually admire you for doing these things... you're so real Kyla! I can not get over how down-to-earth you are.
ReplyDeletePs. You look darn good today, I would love to own a black jumpsuit (darn cat hair!) that can be remixed so easily. I'd wear it EVERY day :)
xo
This is absolutely a glamorous karate kid, but you look stunning!! For real! :)
ReplyDeleteI worship you!

There is no grossness to you at all. You look amazing in this jumpsuit every time you wear it. I can't over the fact that it was only 15 cents.
