Would spring be so glorious without winter? Today was the warmest day of the year so far, and you could tell. Everyone was happy and out and about and active and just soaking it all up.
But I often wonder if this time of year would be so invigorating if it weren't for the long, cold winter.
If you've been reading this little project for a while now, then you're familiar with my warm weather style - easy and breezy. And that all starts today.
Another pair of thrifted pants. I don't know what drew me to these, but I love their slouchy, yet crisp feeling. In the future, I will be sure to pair them with blazers, tanks, lots of jewelry and a great fedora. Not all at once, of course. (Can you tell Iggy is growling at a dog in the above photo?)
Even Iggy got to get out of the house for the day. He got to go to appointments, visit John at work and pop in on a friend and her baby. He's the best, best buddy a girl could have. Needless to say, after all that action, he completely conked in the car on the way home. It was so nice, I took the long way home, through the pretty houses, with the sunroof open and Yankee Hotel Foxtrot in the speakers. Another perfect day.
