DOWNTOWN GIRL

I just need to reiterate: How have I survived this long without a basic trench?

It's the perfect accessory to pull together a simple, run-around-town look.

Admittedly, I had cropped leggings on this morning, but decided that I was in desperate need of a longer pair - preferably with studs.  This is ultimately what prompted my Target excursion today.  And, of course, score!  But I did pay full price for them - what a loser ...

So, if you're gonna pay full price, you better wear 'em right away!  I completely fell in love with the zippers.  I love how it angles the cuff - slightly more flattering to my leg line.

Of course tonight I'll have to change into something a bit more work appropriate, but this was great for my morning of leisure.

    I couldn't agree more about the trench! I had mine on yesterday and it was perfect. I loved having it as an option. You look great in yours and I'm glad you found the leggings you were looking for.

    YEah I just invested in two pairs of long leggings...love em long.
    I wore my trench today too, but I am less than impressed with it. I got it out of our warehouse at work a few years ago for a meagre 40 bucks, but I still don't really love it. It has eaupalletes on the shoulders and it makes me looks slightly footballerish...so I wear it open.
    How great is it to be able to wear a trench right now? I'm sock free today! People are making fun of me for it.

    Leggeings? strangely I love them too. I am not a leggings girl but I freaking love the length and the zipper of these. My passport expires in two weeks, is it worth a Target trip?

    That trench looks great on you. I never thought of myself as a trench coat kind of person but it adds so much class and simplicity to your outfit.

    Trench coats are amazing, they instantly make any outfit look perfect! :D I have one, but I rarely have a chance to wear it, because it's been too warm here lately. But whenever it rains, I immediately pull it out of my closet! :D

    those leggings seriously rock--totally worth full price! and i TOTALLY agree on the trench...now that spring has kind of sprung and i actually feel like wearing something other than sweats, i'm very, very sad to discover that my trench will not accommodate my ever-growing baby belly...sigh.

    Oh good call on the zippers! We have some of those zipper leggings at my work but I never thought of actually, you know...unzipping them. Ha. They look awesome like that with the flats and everything.

    I love that you paired this really classic look with those blue flats--the pop of color is so cute!!
