While setting up my tripod, I pinched my thumb and got 2 wicked blood blisters almost immediately. Just moments prior, I cut myself on a cardboard box and required a band-aid. It was a rough 10 minutes - touch and go for a while there, but I'm okay now :)
Sooo, there's a pretty good possibility that I may never take these pants off. Just kidding, I'll have to take them off sooner or later, but they will most likely be making very frequent appearances on the blog this summer. They are just so damn comfy and breezy. I'm in love.
And while we're at it, the hat is going to be quite the mainstay, too. Hey, if it aint' broke ...
What are your summer workhorses?

Oh you should, indeed, live in those pants. They're killer, and I love your shirt all sassily tied up in a knot!
ReplyDeleteI like the whole outfit, and with the pants being thrifted, makes it even more vintage.
ReplyDeleteBoutzie' ^_^
cute outfit
ReplyDeleteIt's funny....You are all about the pants right now(which all look supercute btw) and my summer mainstay has got to be the dress. Vintage sundresses to be exact. The summer makes me feel super ladylike I guess :)

ReplyDeleteUgh! I hate blisters, and I have them all over my feet at the moment!
ReplyDeleteI love those pants! I have a couple of cotton dresses that I wear all the time in the summer. They breathe so well!
I love your pants!! :) Super cute! Staple pieces for sure!
ReplyDeleteYou gotta watch out with those tripods! Mine likes to bite, too. :(
ReplyDeleteI love the whole outfit, but those pants do look exceptionally comfy. I broke out my favorite spring/summer dress (this is it: http://knitteachride.blogspot.com/2010/04/trader-joes-outfit-and-i-answer-more-of.html) this weekend and plan to be wearing that a ton.
ReplyDeleteI love the pastel blue and green together! So fresh and breezy! I wish I had the confidence to pull off less structured pants! Maybe I'll find a sweet pair at a thrift store and take a risk. :)

I seriously wouldn't ever take those pants off if I were you. I really love how beach chic this whole look is!
ReplyDeleteThe hat is totally killer!
ReplyDeleteThose pants are much more awesome than my "comfy pants", which are actually pj pants with penguins on them...
ReplyDeleteI love this breezy, summery outfit! I can't wait to see all the awesome outfits you have in store for these pants.
ReplyDeleteOh, and sorry about your blisters! :(
I would totally live in that whole outfit all summer as well. Now all you need is a nice East Coast beach to walk on daily and u are all set!! :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd you know i love that shirt!!!
It's under control, I know first aid!
ReplyDeleteaw, your poor finger!!!!
ReplyDeletei love this shirt on you, by the way. eminently flattering and lovely. and yay yay yay spring is here! i am so looking forward to a summer of amazingly chic and effortless kyla outfits.
Love how you're wearing your shirt in a knot. It's a sort've overtly sexy way to wear it, yet you're not showing much skin at all. Very awesome.
