That first snap always comes at such an inopportune time!
I must be subconsciously drawn to this color combo this week, since this is the second day I'm sporting it. I think I've always been drawn to it, though. If you think about it, it's a color trio that's existed in fashion in just about every decade. Who am I to argue with that?
I have a new Thursday schedule, and it's rocking my world! Instead of working from 1 - 7ish, which included about 4 hours of me being bored out of mind, I am now working 9-1ish and then have the afternoon off and then go back from 5-7ish. And since all of my hours revolve around active times, I'm no longer bored. Yay!
Today was the first day of my 4-hour afternoon-to-me and it's been great. Directly after these photos, I took advantage of the sun and 35*F weather (sad, that I think that's "warm") and took a nice run ... with Lady GaGa of course. It may be the last of those for a few days, since they're calling for snow this weekend.
What I'm excited for most about spring is not the weather, the clothes, or the flowers. It's the sunlight! I'm so glad that Daylight Savings is happening earlier this year - please give me my morning light back!

Those colors certainly do create a beautiful palette. Don't let anything stop you from repeating what works.
ReplyDeleteIt is such a perfect colour combo... and the first pic is too cute!
ReplyDeleteAnd a big yeah to flexible, changing schedules!
Hi, I have been following your blog for a while and I love it. I have started a new blog about books, I would like to ask you to consider it if you are a reader:

ReplyDeleteLove the combo! The pattern on the skirts is very cool and I like the statement your boots make. Did you get your hair cut or do something different? It looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteDamnit! You got those boots from Payless! Let me tell you, I went to Target today secretly hoping that I found your boots on sale. I was actually thinking of the beige/taupe color ones. I promise you that I walked down the aisles saying I know "Kyla's" boots have to be on clearance now ! LOL.
ReplyDeleteI did find some black/pleatherish boots for 7 bucks though that actually fit my calves. Oh and some 6 buck brogues too...Now, I must skip on to Payless...Darnit!
Love those colors too...can't go wrong!
Some combinations are classic for a reason. Love the skirt; cool print and shape.
ReplyDeleteI love that, even though that first picture caught you unawares, you are still smiling.
ReplyDeleteAnd I can't stop looking at the star on your jacket. It looks like the gold star you got at school for answering something correctly.
I've been catching up on your posts and I love your latest outfits, you've been rocking some awesome looks lately!
