I just had some yummy pancakes for dinner. Mmm...my favorite! I just mastered the art of cooking a perfect pancake. Now, I'm addicted, like the honeymoon phase of a new relationship.
Today's look features another item from last week's thrifting frenzy - this little wool skirt.
I couldn't resist the colors in this plaid. It may be one of my favorite color palettes. Of course, I say that about every color combination that I like.
I really wanted it to be about 2" longer, but I made a boo-boo when I was cutting it down and then you HAVE to go with the shorter side. Measure twice, cut once. Measure twice, cut once. Someday, I'll learn.
I also love the colorway in your skirt!
ReplyDeleteI think the length fits you perfect. Your mistake turned out great! Nice look and you wear it well.
ReplyDeleteI think the length is perfect on you girl. The skirt is fab. It has the perfect fall color combo... warm and cozy!
ReplyDeleteI also love how you have been wearing your hair down more, you look gorgeous.
All those summer top-knots were hiding some serious hair growth! I don't think I've ever seen your hair this long!! Also, love your bangles :)
ReplyDeleteThe grey slouchiness of this outfit is perfect!!!!
ReplyDeleteI too am victim of measuring once and cutting too short. The bad part is I have a Bachelor of Arts in Design... I should know better.
oh my gosh...i love this skirt and was thinking it was a great length! happy accident, in my opinion!
ReplyDeleteI love your outfits! You do such a great job of looking pretty when it's cold!
ReplyDeleteI actually think the length is just perfect! I love the color combo, too, and I LOVE the tucked-in cardi!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful fall look! I love the pattern and colors of the skirt, and its refreshing to see u with your hair down! U look great!

I love the skirt - it looks fabulous on you. The perfect length.
ReplyDeleteI always end up measuring once and cutting....3 times...lol! Man I hate sewing!
ReplyDeleteI love love love love that cardi...is it new? Must have..
Super cute! Thrifting over here is awful - people donate the worst of the worst!!!
ReplyDeleteNow when I donate I make sure that it is something that I would buy and wear and hope that the favour is one day returned!
Well you just gave me the best idea for what to make for dinner tonight. Now I can't wait until 6pm. I love the way you put your outfit together. Its so cute.
ReplyDeleteI love that skirt! I was thinking recently that I wanted one like that too. I think the length is perfect!

I LOVE having pancakes for dinner :) We pry the breakfast for dinner thing at least every other week since it's cheap and oh so good. My problem is that I go a little overboard with the maple syrup, LOL.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, I HEART this outfit. The plaid and loose shirt is just so 90's (in a good way). And can I just say that your hair is looking unbelievable today?? I wish I could wear bangs like you do, but alas my hair is thin and my face is round.
You look awesome as always, and I LOVE your hair straight and down like that! So fab! :)
ReplyDeleteI swear, you make fashion look so effortless...LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteoh what a great skirt! you look absolutely fantastic... great styling! and your hair is looking especially wonderful lately :)
ReplyDeleteI love that skirt. You found some great items!
ReplyDeleteI love what you did with that skirt. I gather that hemming a skirt with pleats is nothing short of a big pain in the hoohaa...so all hats off to you girl....cause you look wonderful!
