Just when I swallow my pride and profess my love for you, you go and break my heart.
I thought we could at least have one more sweet fling before you stopped calling.
What a jerk!
So, what's a girl to do?
Pull herself together and put her best face forward. That's what.
Oh, fall, I'll get my revenge.
It's a good thing I'm so in love with what I wore today or I would've been a very cranky girl. It's October 15 and there's 2+ inches on the ground. In Pennsylvania?! WTF?!
The best part of the outfit, of course, was the SNOW BOOTS I had to wear for my commute! I really hope that this is not a sign of what's to come...
ACDC baseball tee: TJMaxx, $10 - Suede Skirt (best skirt ever!): thirifted, $3 - Tights: Hue, $15ish - Shoes: DIYed Target flats, $10ish
and boooo the bad weather :)
ReplyDeleteloveeeeee. I also thrifted the most fabulous suede skirt, unfortunate for me it doesn't fit just yet, but fortunately for my sister who has claimed it for now.
ReplyDeleteOh my! So not cool. It's supposed to warm back up next week....
ReplyDeleteUgh! In Calgary we just had a two day storm where traffic was slowed to a halt and snow removal companies couldn't keep up (mostly because I don't think many of them were ready to work yet)...On September 23, we had our hottest day of the year at 34 degrees. Less than 3 weeks later we get a blizzard. Strange weather in this twon...I have yet to see Autumn. Someone needs to tell Lady Gaea she switched her hats too soon (that was a MTV music awards joke...)
ReplyDeletelove the look and the sense of style. The shoes are great. Cool but wearable.
ReplyDeleteLooking hot is always the best revenge on the cold!
ReplyDeleteSo I totally did a dramatic gasp at the sight of this post....not just because you are super stylish but because of the....shudder...snow. EGAD! Stay away snow! Pennsylvania is not that far from here either....I'm scared.
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe these pics!!! Wow!!! U look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteIt was snowing in Boston too this morning :(
ReplyDeletesuper cute look, lady! i'm all booted up this morning, too, but pa definitely got more than we did. my parents live along the pa/ny border, and they got 4". NOT COOL. not cool at all.
ReplyDeleteOk, I am going to pretend this is a joke and that snow is from last year. LOL Ugh! I don't want snow... I really don't. Boston didn't get any snow yesterday, but some place in Western Mass did. No!!!
ReplyDeleteOn another note, you look absolutely adorable! I love the T with the skirt; and those flats are so cute. Great pics too!

Kyla, I flipping LOVE this outfit. Every time you've worn that ACDC tee I just smile. It seems so you. And I'm so jealous of that skirt. I'm going thrifting tomorrow and MUST find one exactly like it. Come on, thrifting gods...
ReplyDeleteLove that T! I really need to get my hands on a vintage rock T.
ReplyDeleteBTW, those pics look pretty much like my commute her in Mass. as well. Boo to winter!!
It's snowing already?!? oh boy I need to get ready for this weather. Love your shoes!!
ReplyDeleteAck! That stinks. The shoes look great! Perfect complement to the shirt :)
ReplyDeleteWow! Talk about some snow, the best part about this, you still manage to dress super cute even with the crappy weather
ReplyDeleteomg! It has been snowing in my hometown too, but thats part of why we moved to the west coast, (usually) no snow. That is a cute look.
ReplyDeletewell dont you know how to make the best of it?!! looking good there missy!
ReplyDeleteWhoaaa, I heard it was snowing up there, but I didn't believe it! It's been raining here non-stop. It's gross. I wish we had snow instead of rain!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love dressing up rocker tees. High five on the adorable outfit :)

Extremely cute outfit! The skirt really suits you. I really think I ought to rock a band tee today now!
ReplyDeleteGreat look for an unexpected snow day!!
ReplyDeleteThis is just too cute, and your hair looks fab!!! I'll have to keep in mind this formula: Suede skirt + rockband shirt = super cool outfit.
ReplyDeleteyou are by far the most entertaining blogger to read! this post was especially hilarious...
ReplyDeletethanks for taking the serious edge off (cuz i hate winter too!)
i dont want to accept that winter is here already...there was so many summer clothes that didn't see the light of day this year!!!
