BLUE COLLAR CATWALKER: IDEE GENIALE

I realize that this feature it completely random, but hey, that's just me.

While sifting through my daily reads last week, I stumbled upon this adorable outfit on Mel over at Idee Geniale.  And oooh, girl - am I feelin' this!  It's so crisp and chic with a whole lotta style.  I love the slim fitted silhouette and Parisian feel.  Mel does it once again.  Thanks for the inspiration!

Be sure to check out her blog!

  6. love the hat- i saw (and blogged about) a grey felt hat like this in lucky last month, with a floral headband strapped around it instead of the regular hat band. SO. ADORABLE.

  7. "Have you ever ironed wool? It kind of stinks."

Hahahaha. That statement really made me laugh because, yes, I have ironed wool and it DOES stink. I thought maybe it was because the wool fabric I bought from the fabric store may have been in their inventory since, ohhh, say 1985, lol, and gathering dust and odors. It smells like wet dog. Or humid trash. Hehehe.. a movie quote is coming to mind here. "Got any wet dog? Low tide? Great! Stink it up." (Monsters Inc.)

Anyways.. you do look super cute and what a great idea to make thrift store pants into shorts! They look great paired with the tights and jacket. I may have to steal your idea and see if I can't find some thift store wool pants.

  8. The jean shirt tucked in looks great. I stay away from denim blouses but I think you have inspired me to give it another try.
